Everything you need. Everything you want. Whatever we can do. When you’re ready. All in a beautiful, secure campus setting in Central Pennsylvania.
The Jewish Home Campus is nestled against the foothills of the lovely Blue Ridge Mountains north of Harrisburg and is easily accessible from the network of highways surrounding Pennsylvania’s Capital City.
On the Campus, residents and visitors will find the Jewish Home, a skilled nursing facility where we provide nursing services, rehabilitation and care for people with cognitive problems. Founded in 1974, the Jewish Home continues to be recommended by physicians, discharge planners, clergy, case managers and families who want their loved ones cared for with skill, warmth, dignity and compassion.
The Residence, a 12-year-old, Independent Living/Personal Care apartment building on the Campus, offers Catered Living to seniors who prefer to live in a congregate setting.
Here, independent older adults are free from the burdens of home ownership and maintenance, but enjoy meals, housekeeping services, activities, security and much more. Professional nurses are on duty around-the-clock, and assistance is available for such activities of daily living as bathing, dressing and managing prescribed medicines.
Admission to the facilities on the Campus is nonsectarian without regard to religion, race, color, sex, national origin or ancestry. Clergy of all denominations visit regularly for services and for holidays. The Jewish Home Campus kitchen follows Jewish kosher practices, customs, and traditions.
The Campus has mature landscaping, patios for dining outdoors, play areas for visiting children, walking paths and spaces just for sitting and relaxing. If you are energetic we invite you to take advantage of our brand new putting green!
The Campus of the Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg is entirely user-friendly, and we’d love to show you around.
Providing a continuum of care.
Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for those we serve and their families, and to support individual beliefs, practices and customs.
